George

Meet George, the rescue who has been a blessing to my life and our family.  We have had dog’s before, and even other rescues.  However, it had been nearly 14 years since we had our last dog. 

During COVID we decided to go to the local animal shelter in West Chester, PA, and adopt a dog.  The shelter was packed as they received not just local dogs but also those from shelters in Louisianna.  See, many of the shelters in Louisianna lack space and if they cannot place the dogs they are euthanized quickly.  Fortunately for us and George, he was just recently flown to the area to provide more time for an adoption.  When we first saw George, we walked right past him as he was laying all lethargic, so we thought something was wrong.  Having never adopted a breed similar to George, we had a lot to learn.  The chill mannerism is a blessing.  Yet, he can fool you when he does his zoomies.  Needless to say, George has become a wonderful addition to our home and I wanted to share him with all of you who made over to my website.
